We Love Wine
We love wine! In fact, we love it so much we want everyone to love it as much as we do! When you visit us at Small Wine Shop, expect to be greeted as a friend. We can’t have our friends drinking boring wine. No judgment or pretension here, just great wine.
Why Natural Wine?
The winemakers we represent practice natural, organic, biodynamic, or low intervention methods. What that means for you is that the wine in the bottle is a pure representation of the unique vision of the winemaker, the land where it is grown, and the tradition that nurtured it. These are exciting, interesting wines that are as comfortable hanging out with you in your flip flops as they are at a special occasion dinner meant to impress.

Join us in the shop for chill vibes and great wine. We offer wine by the glass daily along with a rotating menu of snacks. We also offer a full complement of special events including wine tasting, classes and more!

Organic or Biodynamic Farming
Great wine begins with great grapes. The wines we carry come from farms that care about the quality of the fruit and the health of their land and the planet.
Hand Harvesting
Grapes are hand harvested to ensure that each grape going into your wine is at optimal ripeness. Great wine take attention and care every step of the way.
Low Intervention: Nothing Added, Nothing Taken Away
The winemakers we represnt work hard to ensure that they don’t need to intervene with excessive additives to make great wines. We look for wines with minimal or no sulfites added and many of our wines are also unfiltered and unfined.
Small Production
The wines we carry are produced by small farms. Often family farms and always using traditional methods. Very little of these wines are made which makes them all the more special when they arrive each year.
