ABOUT THE PRODUCER

About Voštinić – Klasnić Ŝkrlet Croatian White

Voštinić – Klasnić Ŝkrlet Croatian White is a young, light, and playful type of wine. Packed with flowery aromas, herbal notes, and fruity tastes. A refreshing white wine is great for warm weather but also wildly food-friendly, pairing with a wide variety of foods including a raw bar (sushi, crudo, etc.) and dishes with a little spice, especially Asian influence.

Škrlet is typically a clear and light yellow color, with higher acidity and low alcohol, making it light, playful, refreshing, and easy to drink. It is rich with flowery aromas, and herbal notes and often delivers a palate of pineapple, peaches, and apples. This wine is a spring or summer day packed into a bottle, exploding with versatile flavors and aromas — Škrlet is a bright beam of sunshine wherever you may find the need.

About Voštinić – Klasnić Winery

Voštinić — Klasnić is located on a small hill near Ivanić Grad, in the region of Moslavina, far away from the stress and city hustle of Zagreb, a beautiful and humble estate surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The family has been making wine since 1936 when Tomislav’s great-grandfather planted the first vines of Škrlet in this area, some of which are still growing in the vineyards today and some of the oldest living Škrlet vines in existence.
