ABOUT THE PRODUCER

About The Other Right Bright Young Pink

The Other Right Bright Young Pink is beautiful, light, textural sparkling wine. Super, super drinkable, and most appropriate for the warm summer. Flirty, flamboyant, easy-going, and effortless to drink, although not that effortless to make. Like a ballerina on Pointe. Sitting at 12.20%, it’s a mix of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay that is naturally sparkling, bottle-fermented, pet-nat.

About The Other Right

The Other Right is husband and wife team Alex Schulkin and Galit Shachaf. The name The Other Right started as a family joke after Galit found it challenging to distinguish between right and left, giving driving directions with shouts like “Not This right, the Other right!!!”. It also resonates with them as The Other Right stands for an alternative.

‘Right’ is a subjective concept. Having heard many times of the Right way (in life, winemaking, you name it) but believing there is more than right and wrong, Alex and Galit started making wine under The Other Right label in 2012. They love making people see things differently and love a challenge. They love creating things that push the boundaries and are exciting, yet simple and approachable. Most of all Alex and Galit are trying to have fun and not take themselves too seriously.

The wines are an expression of the couple; sometimes a little rough on the edges, full of contradictions. They carry their thoughts, passions, dreams, feet, and handprints. Alex and Galit see them as living things; untamed, happy, and free-spirited.
