About Raïmones Wines
Raïmones is a project that brings together the new, younger generation from three neighboring wine families in Catalonia – the families run the Mas Candi, La Salada, and RR Sadurni wineries. Combining their energy and skills with their parents’ practical expertise, they make natural wines and aim to promote Marina, a little-known indigenous grape variety.
Mandó is a native Spanish red wine grape variety close to extinction. It has historically been grown in Baix Ebre in Catalonia, as well as in Valencia, and other parts of eastern Spain as Garro. The Spanish DOPs of Pla de Bages in Catalonia and Valencia grow it as an authorized variety under the synonym Mandó.
