About Nelly France
From the website:
Our family settled in the Rhône Valley as winegrowers in 2016. Since then, we have been working our land biodynamically and making the wines that we want to be elegant, supple, with beautiful freshness, and without ostentatious wood. We work to produce beautiful fruit and want to keep this fruit, our role in the cellar is to work on the complexity of the fruit and the texture of the wine.
We make wines that we like, we like to eat and drink, and our children seem to follow our path.
We sell our wines to the finest tables in France and around the world, and to wine merchants concerned with making selections of quality wines that make sense.
This is the story of our estate and the one we are happy to tell our customers at fairs and other wine events.
But by dint of hearing at these shows that my work as a winegrower is relegated to the background, I decided to create wines for women. Because of course, I am the wife of the winegrower,… but not only! And no…, I didn’t follow my husband’s dream, I’m also following my dream! So, it is not a question of saying that these wines are made to the taste of women…, because that would make no sense! No, the idea is to make wines to showcase the women we are today.
These are wines produced in very limited quantities and will be available each year in a different collection, thus depicting new facets of women. These collections will follow us as we share and evolve together. These wines are organic, biodynamic, or in conversion, because that’s what has made sense to me for a very long time.
