Lavie Le Vaurien Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine sur Lie is a wonderful light-bodied white wine from the Loire Valley. High acid and bright with green pear, green apple, and smoky minerality. There is a liveliness that shines through here. Fermentation is carried out in underground vats, then reared for 8 months without racking. There is as little as input as possible to leave full expression of the grape variety and terroir. The wine is vinified without any inputs and follows the lunar calendar. The wine is bottled with fining or filtration and does not see sulfur additions.

About Les Vins de Lavie
Les Vins de Lavie is embarking on a new adventure in the Nantais vineyard in order to showcase the beautiful terroirs of Muscadet. The winery works with respect and balance for nature through organic and biodynamic farming practices. Essential oils, composts, and biodynamic preparations support their farming. But above all, it is knowledge and observation of the balance between soil, plant, and climate that guides the work of accompanying the vines: it is in the vineyard that they make the wine. Once the grapes have reached maturity, harvest is done by hand and put in vats so that the magic of fermentation can take place. There, the senses awaken – the nose, the color, the taste, the sound of the bubbles – as the winemaker monitors and accompany the wines until they are bottled. The goal is to create a wine that is alive, free to express terroir, a vintage, and emotions, and to be shared with others
