About Laurent Bénard

The Bénard-Pitois family began their Champagne adventure in 1878 and has been improving the cultivation of the soil and the vine as well as the quality of the wine ever since. This is a grower Champagne – wife-and-husband proprietors Michelle and Laurent Bénard-Pitois produce wine from their own vineyards. Fully certified Ecocert organic, they began the process some 25 years ago, long before it was fashionable or notable. In 2009 the conversion took off and has reached 2.5 hectares cultivated according to the AB specifications today. Moreover, since 2012, the work with the wine has obtained organic certification. The future generations of Bénard will follow the choice and, in turn, live and work respecting this inheritance.
