ABOUT THE PRODUCER
About Lares Babel Coferment Blend
Lares Babel Coferment Blend is made from Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay from the Tualatin Hills AVA in Willamette Valley. A bright and crunchy red that is perfect for chilling down and having with a bbq, pizza, or family functions that cause anxiety. Aromas and flavors of wild strawberries, raspberries, earthy spice, and puckering lemon acidity.
About Lares Wines
Lares is a form of creative exploration for winemaker Luke Wylde. This small label gives Luke the space to lean on what he has learned over the years and to create new things because of that experience. Ultimately, Luke wants to make wine in his own way, in a style that’s not dictated by representations of anything but his own curiosity. Working with grapes that are either new to Luke as a winemaker or using them in ways unfamiliar to his winemaking acumen.
About Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is the world’s most popular light-bodied red wine. It’s loved for its red fruit, flower, and spice aromas that are accentuated by a long, smooth finish. Primary flavor notes of cherry, raspberry, mushroom, clove, and hibiscus. A very versatile food pairing wine given its higher high acidity and lower tannin. Pinot Noir pairs particularly well with duck, chicken, pork, and mushrooms.
