ABOUT THE PRODUCER
About Kortavebis Marani 35 Varieties of Grapes
Kortavebis Marani 35 Varieties of Grapes uses all 35 indigenous grape varietals growing in Tamuna’s vineyards as sort of a library of wine history in Georgia. The grapes are all pressed and aged in the traditional Georgian way in qvevri, which lay in the ground. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. This is a small sulfite addition of under 30 ppm. The 35 Varieties is a juicy red wine with bright and savory aromatics. The palate is loaded with red and black fruit, earthy spice, and well-integrated tannins. Pair with grilled duck breast with a cherry glaze.
