Kermit Lynch Cypress Cuvée Cotes du Rhone is a bistro wine personally selected by Kermit Lynch Wine Merchants for each vintage. This “Cypress Cuvee” is made by the wine co-op Terres d’Avignon in the heart of Southern Rhone. By purchasing fruit from a number of small grape growers in the area, the co-op crafts wines that express authentic regional character: aromas of ripe black fruit, a gentle spiciness, and a garrigue-flavored kick of thyme and rosemary. Bottled exclusively for the USA, this cuvée is the result of traditional methods such as natural fermentation, aging in concrete vats, and unfiltered bottling.
About Terres d’Avignon
Terres d’Avignon was born in 2005. The aim is to produce and market wines of the south of France effectively and efficiently across the globe. The organization boasts some 260 members, who have a total area under vine of 1730 acres. The finest wines are bottled individually and sold at a very reasonable price for the quality.
