Clot de L’Origine Soif de Plaisir is a 50-50 blend of Carignan and Syrah that goes through whole cluster carbonic maceration. Ripe red and blue fruits mingle with cocoa, mint, and dark floral notes. The fruit is high-toned and the tannins have been tampered, making this an chuggable red. Fermentation with native yeast, aged on lees for 10 months in stainless steel vats, then bottled unfined and unfiltered with a low dose of SO².
