About Cantina Indigeno Vino Bianco

Cantina Indigeno Vino Bianco is made from 100% Trebbiano with a touch of skin contact. This tavola bianco is from 100% Trebbiano and made with spontaneous fermentation and no temperature control. Skins are left in the wine for 8 days in open vats and the wine is aged to settle for 8 weeks in fiberglass. A lot of extra flavor and texture from the additional skin contact but this isn’t an orange wine, just a delicious well-made white suited for day drinking(at 10.25% abv), as an aperitif with antipasti or with lighter shellfish and fish dishes.

About Cantina Indigeno

Cantina Indigeno is an up-and-coming winery run by a group of young-ish guys from Abruzzo, Italy. The project is focused on local grape varieties with the aim to produce fresh and totally natural table wines.

In the vats, the monster shakes off the sugars and procreates the grade. The skins thicken at the edges, the polyphenols gather, the tannic infantry emerges from the stalks as if from the trenches. The amphorae transpire: they have inflated the terracotta belly for the lethargy of the grapes. The air sifts the presses lined up under the path of the spiders and slips away to oxygenate the barrels. A bubbler whistles in the appendix, the stillness inflows from the fiberglass minaret. While the equinox folds up the carapace of light, the elves in the corners of the cellar consecrate themselves to indigenous yeasts.
